Upcoming Aesthetics Regulations
The UK is introducing new national regulations to improve safety in the aesthetics industry. These reforms began in 2013 through Health Education England and are now moving toward implementation.
A proposed treatment classification framework groups procedures by risk:
🟢 Green – Unsupervised Treatments
Low-risk treatments such as chemical peels, microneedling, and non-invasive devices.
🟠 Amber – Clinically Supervised Treatments
Procedures like dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections, requiring collaboration with a qualified medical professional.
🔴 Red – Prohibited / Highly Restricted Treatments
High-risk procedures expected to be banned, including BBL, breast/body fillers, and COG threads.

Why Do I Need a Qualifi Qualification?
The UK aesthetics industry is moving towards formal regulation, meaning practitioners will need recognised qualifications and licences to continue practising.
Qualifi qualifications are Ofqual-regulated and widely recognised, making them one of the safest choices as new regulations are introduced. They align closely with national standards and are more likely to be accepted under future regulatory frameworks.
Upcoming legislation is expected to regulate non-surgical cosmetic treatments, including:
Procedures that penetrate the skin
Injections and needles
Thread lifting treatments
Light, heat, cold, and energy-based devices

HOW LONG IS EACH QUALIF LEVEL?
How Long Is Each Qualifi Level?
The duration of each course depends on the level, prior experience, and study pace. At Invisaland, we offer flexible blended learning (online theory + in-person practicals).
- Level 2 Beauty Qualifications
⏱️ 3–6 months - Level 3 Beauty Qualifications
⏱️ 4–6 months - Level 4 Aesthetics (Skin Rejuvenation / Aesthetic Practice)

If you complete your coursework and feel ready ahead of schedule, we’ll book you onto the very next available assessment date.
At Invisaland, we run assessment days in small groups at the academy so we can give each student the time, attention, and support they deserve. This ensures a high-quality, stress-free assessment experience.
We will always aim to offer you the earliest possible assessment date once you are ready.
WHAT IF I DON'T FINISH ON TIME?
What If I Don’t Finish on Time?
You have up to 2 years to complete and pass your assessments, so there is no pressure to rush.
At Invisaland, we understand that life can happen — whether it’s family commitments, health issues, or being overbooked in your salon. We take a supportive and flexible approach and will never pressure you to complete before you’re ready.
If you feel you need to delay your assessment, simply inform us as early as possible so we can support you and adjust your learning or assessment plan accordingly.
Our priority is your success, confidence, and wellbeing, not rushing the process.
HOW OFTEN WILL I SPEAK TO THE TUTOR?
How Often Will I Speak to My Tutor?
You’ll have regular support throughout your course. We offer:
- Weekly 1-to-1 Zoom calls with your tutor
- Access to our online learning portal to upload work and message teachers
- WhatsApp support for quick questions and guidance
- Pre-recorded video tutorials for each unit to help you revise and prepare for assessments
